Results from our FS

So, we got our results back from the FS. Husband's SA came back with number off the chart. Like super duper sperm and then MD told me I had very fertile numbers. I almost laughed, like REALLYYYYYYYYYY. lol. She told me I would have unexplained infertility EXCEPT I had a cone biopsy, so she is thinking there is scar tissue preventing the sperm from impregnating me. So, I will start Clomid on my period and then proceed with IUI. Wish me luck ladies. I actually felt excited with my results. Very happy to see that me or my husband didn't have any severe issues going on.

Hey- we have always had good results-dr called hubby ' superman ' cos of sperm count. We are unexplained and currently on ivf no 2. It's great to have good results but can be frustrating as you don't know why it isn't happening! Our 2nd clinic seem to think my amh is a little low now, but nothing too worrying..

What is a cone biopsy and where might the scar tissue be? How does IUI help with that? Sorry for all the questions, just curious.

Cone biopsy on my cervix due to cancerous cells. They removed a corner piece of it. So, the scar tissue will cover the cervix opening. When I had the HSG test, the doctor had a lil hard time poking thru the cervix. So, MD said about 90% of her cases, like mine (unexplained infertility w/a cone biopsy in the past), all that she needed to do was have a IUI and her patient became pregnant. So I'm hoping that is all that is needed.
