Hi,

So i've filled my freezer with various things for LO (none of which she'll touch at the moment but thats another rant!) one of the things being pork, apple and rice (copied from a jar she likes)

but ive just had a horrible thought - rice is pretty dangerous if it isn't reheated properly isn't it?

my LO eats everything cold so i generally take things out the freezer in the morning to defrost then give her them straight out the fridge. am i risking her health if i do that with the rice ones?

and what about jars with rice in, i take it they're ok?

until I just googled this I didnt know you couldnt. I freeze rice pudding for LO.

Ive just looked on the Annabel Karmel website and she says her rice recipes can be frozen.

I posted this on another thread that was asking about rice:

https://www.food.gov.uk/multimedia/pdfs/riceind.pdf

Which says:

If you reheat rice, make sure it is very hot (steaming) all the way through. Do not reheat rice unless it has been
chilled down safely and kept in the fridge until you reheat it. Do not reheat rice more than once. See the
‘Cooking again (reheating)’ safe method.
