Hi ladies!
We just found out today that we're having another little pink bundle, I'm so excited to plan for her and wanted some advice on names. Our dd1 is called Brooke. I'm in the uk where there aren't so many Brooke's but it's not really out there either. I wanted another name like that and I love Robyn but worried people will call her Rob. I love Imogen but I dont know if it goes with Brooke like Robyn does. What do you think?

In think Robyn goes much better with Brooke. I have a Robyn in my family and she is just lovely!

I love the name Imogen but I think Robyn goes better with Brooke, sort of a nature theme.

Great choices! I love Imogen and I think it goes just fine with Brooke. Maybe Robyn goes a little better, but if you prefer Imogen, you shouldn't let the sibling-matching thing stop you.

I also know a few Robyns and I don't think they've had trouble with being called Rob. Maybe their friends would shorten the name to Rob sometimes, but I can't imagine it sticking or being a problem.

I've never been a huge fan of Robyn, Imogen is pretty though :)

Thanks ladies! I'm still really unsure. I LOVE robyn and can see myself with a child called Robyn, I just can't see myself with a baby called Robyn! Haha! And I love Imogen but I didn't know if it's really 'us'. Maybe I just need to meet her and all will become clear! I had a short list for Brooke and she didn't look like a Holly which was my other name. I think I'll know when I see her xxx

I prefer Imogen.

Both will work for Brooke because of the "o"s. I wouldn't let the "sibset" stop you from naming your girl.

To me Imogen sounds way better with Brooke! You just have to say Brooke first.

I vote Robyn.... But that's because it is my name too hehe...
I'm from the UK and never got called Rob over there. Living in NZ now and everybody seems to call me Rob!

That's weird, I'm a New Zealander and wouldn't call you Rob :-P.

Robyn and Brook sound like they come from a similar generation or name trend which is why I think they go together well. Sort of like Jessica and Kelly, or Sandra and Karen 'match'.

I agree :) I don't know why but Brooke and Robyn just seem to go together for me. In my head I keep calling her Robyn so unless it really doesn't suit when she's born I can see us going with it. I like Robyn Amelia. It's a miracle that hubby does too so I'll prob settle on it!

LOVE Robyn Amelia!!!! I have a friend called Robyn and no one ever calls her Rob!

I think Imogen goes well with brooke better than what robyn does

I love the name Imogen, it was on my list. However it has become popular and I know a few people with imogens now (I'm also UK) I think BRooke and Robyn sound really pretty together, also I've only ever known one girl called Robyn in my class at school and nobody ever shortened it to Rob she was always Robyn Xxx
