hi girls, just wondering what sort of routine you have for your little ones?

Frasers routine is as follows:
7am wakes for feed & comes into our bed for couple of hours
10 am feed & gets dressed
11am nap
2pm feed
7pm feed
7.30pm bath
8pm bedtime
12 noon feed
approx 3am feed

Its based on the contented baby routine but weve changed a few of the times to better suit us.

Would be helpful to hear others day & night routines to see what has worked for you?
thanks x

I'm not on any real fixed routine - but funnily enough our day is pretty much similar to yours anyway. I'm only really just starting to try to put her to bed at night time now, to get her used to day and night, so give her a little massage before she goes to bed.

Trouble is she does then tend to lie there wide away, and either falls fast asleep or cries for the next two hours while me and OH wonder what to do!!

not in a strict routine, I tend to bath her around 8pm then bottle at around 9pm then put her upstairs in cot at around 9.30pm and she settles really well x

So is he up from after his 11am nap until 8pm? None of my boys stayed away nearly that long at 6wks lol. We never had a set routine, it was all based on them, we fed on demand, napped when they seemed tired. They kind of set their own routine eventually though

no he naps till 2pm then usually has an afternoon nap somewhere between 2pm & 7pm but he is awake alot of the afternoon usually.

Kate- I tried the massage after a bath with the johnsons lavander lotion but fraser hated the feel of the cold lotion after the warm bath I think & screamed and screamed whenever I did it so needless to say that bit has been removed from our bedtime routine!!

I dont think i'd ever got for a total routine, I just follow what Jasper is telling me.

He's very consistant if we're just home for the day, he has a morning, midday and afternoon sleep, he has a feed each time he wakes up and one before he goes to bed.

But... the time of the sleeps and feeds all rest on what time he got up and how much sleep he got over night.

Try letting the bottle of lotion sit in warm/hot waterwhile you bath him so it's warmed
