I noticed the other day that DD2 is cutting a back tooth. It's so close, to the point it just needs the skin to break and it's through. She's had all the typical symptoms, dribbling, off her food, clingy, whingey. The usual. One other thing she seems to have developed is following through? Just wondered if that was part of the teething process for nappies to be a bit runny? She will literally fart and need changing, sometimes it's a full nappy sometimes it's just a stain but is it normal?

Ooh ETA, they STINK! Her poos are a bit wiffy anyway because of the milk she's on but these ones are vulgar!

I don't know about the stink, but my DD definitely has runny poops when she is teething. Maybe from all the excess saliva?

I noticed my baby had runnier poops that smelled strongly of vinegar when he got his teeth at 5 months. Mine had to be changed often after a farthest too.

W's are like this lately! I chalked it down to maybe because she's dribbling like a tap because of her tooth that's making an appearance too.

I often wonder how such a disgusting smell can come from someone so small and cute

We're going through nappies like they're going out fashion!!

Literally every other nappy is a poo and they're so watery. Surely it's not normal for there to be so much poo

We always have the runny battery acid poop when teething here.

Omg yes!! Battery acid is a perfect description!

So glad it's normal. I was getting a bit panicky that she had a tummy bug!

it can be normal but it also sounds like a upaet tummy. if youve been in contact with anyone whos poorly id keep a eye on her and make sure she's drinking enough
