Rye bread

Is it okay to give babies rye bread?

I think so, I haven't found anything that says it isn't. I want to give it to Freya when we start weaning as I would like to keep her off wheat and gluten for a few more months.

for me it is good for the no wheat thing. density depends on where you buy it. my mum buys hers from tesco and it is thinner and crumbles more than normal thin bread.
