Hey ladies,
So me and DF went to the doctors this morning for our test results.

My uterus is normal and tubes are clear but they said they found a few small folicals (I assume there on my ovarys) so I am borderline PCOS but the doctor said that shouldn't be a problem as there wernt many folicals & I have no symptoms on PCOS so a good result? Could have been worse

DFs SA came back with reduced mobility and the doctor said this is the reason I've now gotten pregnant, that was hard for him to take in and he almost cryed in the doctors office :hugs: but he said everything else is fine, so are his sperm just 'swimming in circles'

I've been trying to reasure my DF that is could have been a lot worse and he can still have kids but he's feeling abit down in the dumps about it, any idea of how I should comfort him?

Also is there any supliments he can take to help his mobility?

The results are the best and we hoped for better but as I said before we can have children we are not completely infertile which I was worried about so I feel a big big weight has been lifted of our sholders :)
Thanks ladies! Xxx

hi hun, hope your OH is ok, i think it really knocks blokes as they feel less of a man, i can remember how worried my DH got before they came back. im no expert but my advice would be just to keep reasuring him and probably do your homework on it without bringing it up a lot with him, he may feel he is letting you down :nope:
there are lots of ladies on here in similar situations and it may be worth looking into the vitamins and herbal meds, they can make a massive difference.
hope you are both ok :hugs: xx

p.s love yor puppy!!!! i have 2 staffies, they are my babies. my dog is similar to yours xx

Thank you for your reply 34 views and only 1 reply :idk: lol

He is feeling much better now we had a little convosation and he shed a tear but he can be a daddy which is good news :)

We are looking forward now! :) I'm going to have a look online but changed my internet provider so I'm using my blackberry which is suupppppper slow lol

Also hun good luck tomorrow with your ovarian drilling hope it goes really well :) xxxxxxx

Zoie.....was your DF sperm count numbers good??

I was watching the Doctors (TV show), and they were talking about how for those with damaged sperm, it was better for them to have sex more often so there is a better chance for those that are ok to make it.

I googled it and found this as well

Yehh everything else was normal they just don't know were there going lol I will have a look at the link when I'm back online, my phone won't load other pages for some reason lol. But I got my first positive ovulation test on CD 19 and I've usially given up on OPKs by now also I'm not usially comfortable with sex after ovulation :/. So I think that we have been missing my o time.

Hopefully we will get it before we have to have medical intervention :) xxxxxxx

Release the guys every other day, zinc and vit c supplements, no hot baths and loose cotton undercrackers. That should greatly improve the quality of his guys. Also, most men these days have one issue or another with the boys. It's really common and frankly not as dire as has been made apparent to you!

Hey Zoie! I have done some research because the dr's have told me that there is nothing at all wrong with me other than I have a bit of a tilted cervix and uterus (which the dr said 30% of all women in America have one so no biggie)! My DH refuses to get tested so I started looking for male fertility aids and I found this one

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006HDOSM/ref=oss_product

It seems to have great reviews not only on amazon but also on other websites! Biggest down fall is they are horse pills and you have to take one 2x a day! But given the alternative I guess that's not much!!

I just thought I would share! Hope that it helps!

Thank you very much purechaos109 and thing is worth a try :) I will have a good look at it when I'm back on the net xxxxx

Is mobility the same as motility? If so, you will have better luck if you google that.

My DH went from too low to count to having an ok amount with 49% motility after a couple of months on a supplement.

Has you GP asked for a repeat sample from you OH? As you really need a couple to compare. If he makes any changes to his lifestyle/diet, allow 3 months to see a difference, so maybe leave 4 months between tests.

the doctor hasnt offerd another test do you think i should just go in and ask him for another test?

Purechaos - Ive been reading the product reviews for FertilAid for Men and they look promising im going to do a little more research on it, im seriously thinking of getting some.

Thanks ladies xx
