Hey girls 
here it is ! My really amazing short birth story !
Sunday June 23 I went into the hospital with horrible swelling of my feet, since I was scheduled and induction for Monday June 24 at 6 pm they decided to keep me anyways and start inducing my labor! At about 10:15 Sunday night they gave me cervidil at that time I was 3 cm and 60% thinned. Monday June 24 the doctor came in and have me a cervical exam as well as took out my cervidil at that I was still 3cm and 80% thinned. They started me in pitocin shortly after which got my contractions going right away! But they weren't painful the doctor said as soon as I hit 4 cm I could get the epidural so after they had my contractions going for about an hour and a half they came in gave me a cervical exam and said I was 4 cm so I said I wanted the epidural and so about 15 mins to a half hour later my anesthesiologist came in and was really funny and nice and gave me the epidural which was painless! The best part is I got a little button that he gave me that if I started to feel pain and uncomfortable that I could press it and it would shoot some extra epidural in me! I was completely numb my whole labor and never felt a single contraction! Dr. Proge came in broke my water which I didn't feel do to the epidural. After the epidural I had to get a catheter out in to drain my bladder ! I then just watched tv and kept getting cervical exams really at 2:32 they gave me a cervical exam I was at 5 cm and still 80% thinned ! At 8 they did another cervical exam and I was fully dialated and completely thinned!! They wanted to lay on my right side for about 23 minutes and then on my left said for about a half hour to see if she'd drop a little more not that she needed to but they thought it would be better if she did, which she did so at 8:53 I started pushing and she was born at 9:31 I felt nothing my whole delivery it was absolutely amazing! She was 8 pounds 11.3 oz and 21 1/2 inches long! I sobbed so hard after she was born she was so beautiful I just couldn't control it! I had a little tear and got 2 stitches!
