does anyone know anything about using cleaning products when pregnant?
my DH is very good and does most of the cleaning that requires chemical products (bleach, anti bac spray etc) but today I cleaned the oven using Oven Pride cleaner
I was really careful, had the windows open and wore the gloves (a tiny bit of the product went on the skin on my arm but I washed it off) and it didnt even really have a smell
Ive had a look online but cant find much info about safety when doing this kind of thing?
the worrier in me is panicking a little bit now that Ive breathed chemicals in!!!!

I wouldn't worry too much. Over pride is very strong so I probably wouldn't be using that when pregnant if i could avoid it.

Other than that I use bleach, cleaning sprays etc on a daily basis. I presume as long as you're not intentionally sniffing/inhaling them then you'll be fine :)

Thank you for replying, I got my DH to get all the oven pride gel out of the oven and then I just wiped it out. When I turned the oven on to dry it out the fumes were so strong! I opened the window and got some fresh air though!
Won't be using that again!
