I dusted off the slow cooker and have been making lots of yummy meals suitable for all three of us. Today I've just made my easy, chuck every thing in, sausage casserole but I'm worried about the salt content.

I've got loads of veg and used a reduced salt stock cube but will it be ok to give to my boy for dinner? It has one tin of baked beans, one tin of tomatoes and, obviously, sausages. I've not added any salt but I'm so wary of him having too much salt. Woud a small amount be ok?

I have salt paranoia!

If you are cooking his meals and watch salt intake regularly Id give him some. Its good to have things in moderation. Id just take the skins off the sausages for lo. He will be getting lots of yummy veg and pulses too!!

Thank you! He seems to love my cooking (strange boy) so will try him on it tomorrow. He had chicken casserole from yesterday today in the end.
