Scam job? Been offered a job through an e-mail, one I didn't even apply for.

Here's the e-mail. I am wary of the transferring funds part. so I've not replied.


Dear Clare Fixter,

Based on your CV on jobsite.co.uk. We are pleased to extend an offer to join LEQTOS LTD as a F.S.A..

A salary for the position includes 27600 on annual base salary; 8% commission for each complete transaction.

Job description for F.S. Agent.: You will be transferring and receiving funds from our clients, insuring that every transaction executed in timely manner.

The offer is contingent on a successful background check. In addition, you will be required to register in our online system.

Please let me know if you have any questions, I will gladly guide through the registrations process.

Oh gosh I think that's one of the scary money laundering jobs where they make you work illegally without you realising!!! Avoid!! Might be worth reporting.

The job will involve laundering money (hiding the origin of money gained through illegal activities) through your own personal account, which is illegal and taken very seriously. I suggest just ignoring the email.
 
Maybe forward the email to Jobsite as they mention them in their email?
