Scan today and all perfect!

Hi everyone,

I had my early scan today and all is well. Measured 8 weeks and 4 days and saw the heartbeat!

I am so happy and relieved and want to say thanks for everyone's posts as they have kept me sain!

I hope you all have a healthy pregnancy

Thanks everyone. It was such a relief. The sonographer that I saw when I was told I would have a miscarriage was there too and she remembered me. It was really nice of her cos she actually made the effort to come over to me in the waiting room to wish me luck (she told me she wasn't doing this scan).

I have never been so relieved afterwards - I was crying for ages. I am so grateful all is OK but I still have a slight feeling of sadness that I couldn't go in to that scan with a feeling of naievity rather than sheer fear. I am sure you all understand that too.

Anyhow, onwards for me now and all looking good so can hopefully start to relax a little bit, till the next scan!

Congratulations Blondie, thats great news. I know what you mean I go into every scan expecting the worst hopefully it will get better as pregnancy progresses. I will be due same day as you!!
