Hi ladies,
I had a c-section with my son 4 years ago. I'm now 4 wks, 4 days pregnant with baby #2. I've been having some burning and pulling sensations at the site of my c-section scar. (Not really painful, just kind of uncomfortable.) I feel like it is too early for things to really be stretching out too much. Any thoughts? Anyone have any similar experiences? Should I be worried at all? Any input much appreciated! : )

I get this time to time too especially now that I'm getting towards the end. I'm fairly certain it's normal but you can ask your doctor if you're worried. :hugs:

I get this from time to time, it's more frequent now that I'm at the end but it's totally normal.

Pretty normal, you can massage your scar with coconut oil it'll help break up scar tissue a bit. If it does get back you can talk to your doctor they may be able to prescribe something to numb it.

I did have some pulling, but not until later. I didn't experience any burning, but I did have a pulling sensation every once an awhile.

Thanks ladies!! I think since I am so early, its probably in my head and I just need to relax.

Some women are also just more aware if their bodies as well :)

I have been meaning to post about this for ages to find out if normal. I have been getting really bad pains across my scar from quite early on. One evening I sneezed and literally had a blinding pain in my scar area for about 2 minutes, thought I'd ruptured or something! My midwife said its most likely just stretching pains, I'm not so worried anymore, but doesn't stop me over analysing every little pain!

Yes me! I had my first by section and early on in this pregnancy (#2) I was getting those pains and thinking it was a little early. I have a feeling I have a lot of adhesions in there (I think they accidentally cut my bladder during the 1st section, I haemorrhaged and was left open for 1hr20mins after dd was born!) so this pregnancy has been way more uncomfortable than my 1st with all the scar tissue having to stretch.
Hope it eases for you x

Oh my goodness, that sounds like an awful experience!!! I hope the feeling eases up for you soon. Thanks for the response! : )
