scared and need to hear from others please.....

I had an ultrasound last week on the 10th where we saw a healthy baby with arms legs and a heartbeat. Woke up at 3am with spotting a strange orangish red color but it has the smell of fresh blood. Its not a lot and only when I wipe but I'm scared to death as I miscarried in December has anyone had this happen and be ok?

Hiya Wantabelly, didn't want to read and run but i have no experience with this.

Have you spoken to your midwife/doctor? I think if i was you i would be asking for a quick check up for reassurance.

I hope it is nothing and that you are both fine.

Didn't want to read and run but I would suggest the same as above speak to a midwife or doctor it will put your mind at rest if you get checked, good luck hope everything is ok

hey,
ive had bleeds in this pregnancy but i also wanted to say ive had (sorry tmi!) alot of discharge which has varried in colour from snot coloured to beige to orange! also ive had swabs taken and no infections! its aparently normal, maybe it could just be discharge? xxx

No we hadn't, since I had a mc in Dec I've been afraid to even try it until we get past a certain point.....

I have not had that color but i have had some weird colours, so i went to docs who did swabs and turns out i had Thrush.

It may be an infection, Infections are very common in pregnancy so maybe go to ur doctors and ask to have some swabs taken.

hey hun, i bled at 5 weeks for a week, it was light but went on..then had my nt scan at 11 weeks, all was fine, then a week on bled bright red blood, then spotted for about 3 days and i have not had sex since 5 weeks cause i am too scared but just wanted to let you know my beanie is fine and i heard its heart beat this sunday and felt him or her this morning, so just try to relax but to put ur mind at ease speak to doc or midwife. xxxx

I just wanted to Thank Everyone! I saw the Dr. yesterday and they did an ultrasound to check on everything. The baby was jumping around in there and I heard the heartbeat I am so happy and thankful for such wonderful ladies that listen and understand. You guys are GREAT!!
