Hi Ladies,

I'm having a scheduled c-section at 39weeks, but don't see my consultant til 36+6 (I'm 31weeks today) and just worrying about what's going to happen...like when you get to the hospital, what happens in the run up to the section, where do you wait?! how long will the wait be?! and mainly worried about the spinal...
6weeks feels way too long to wait to find out, and its making me really anxious!
So...would anyone care to share their planned c-section experiences with me?!

Thanks :flower:

hiya, Is this your firts section?
I wil be having my fourth section in 5 days time. What happens is that you will have a pre-operative assessment where they will take swabs from you to see if you have MRSA. They will also take some bloods from you to identify if everything is within there normal range. They will let you know on that appointment where you need to go on the day for your section and you can also ask them what order you are on the list for your section . Any queries you can ask on that day. If you are at all worried before that contact your midwife , which you will be seeing more of in these last few weeks. xxx

It will be my 2nd c-section - had an EMCS with DD1, so have no real memory of the procedure or going down to theatre ect!

I'm due to see the MW again in 3weeks, then c-sec consultant in 5weeks...:flower:
