There's a new science magazine for 6-11 year olds hoping to be funded by Kickstarter at the moment. It looks lovely, and is explicitly gender neutral. I've not come across anything similar before, so I'm hoping it goes ahead. For those who haven't used it before, you can pledge to buy individual copy or a yearly subscription, but your money won't be taken unless the project reaches it's target. They have about half the money at the moment with 11 days to go.
