I had a failed IUI where i started bleeding 10dpiui in spite of being on progesterone pills. Stopped taking the pills on day 11 and period started on day 12. Had a pretty heavy and painful period and now when i went for an ultrasound doc sys that the endometrium is still a little thick and there is no ovulation in sight even on day 9. I have very regular cycles 28 days with ovulation on day 13/14. Am a bit concerned. Doc says its normal cos I have been on hormones. Dont know if I will ovulate at all this cycle.:? Any comments

Hey, hope you are ok. Sorry that the scans are proving a little confusing this month. Forgive me if this sounds crazy, but have you taken a test at all?? Just wondered with no signs of ovulation and a slightly thick lining... I know you can bleed heavily and still be pregnant - my doctor told me she did with her dd. Don't want to get your hopes up but at least it would rule it out?

Hey Babychristie..I did take the HCG blood test on day 11. BFN..so I guess pregnancy can b e safely ruled out :(

Last fall I did 2 rounds of failed IUI and while my periods were "unique" before IUI they were very regular. I always knew what to expect. Ever since then my periods have been different. easy/ hard light/heavy whatever.... Hormones are a strange thing.

Thanks for ur reply. But has your ovulation come back to normal and are the periods still regular?
