Is anyone else finding the second trimester worse than the first? I'm 14 weeks today and for the past week I've been feeling run down, my back has been aching constantly, I've got Round Ligament Pain as well as occasional cramping, nausea has set in for the first time in the form of a permenant lump at the back of my throat and a suspected UTI.
From the day I found I was pregnant to week 12, I had next to no symptoms bar spre breasts and occasional constapation so this has hit me like a bus. I work a very active job ( I'm the assistant manager of a cafe/bar open 8am-11pm 7 days a week) and have already had to cut my hours from 55 to 40 but I'm still struggling massively. My feet and back ache after a few hours, and I'm having to take days off which is totally out of character for me, plus my boss isn't exactly supportive and I feel like I'm letting people down - the notion that I was meant to get paid for antenatal appointments was an alien concept.
I'm also very large for my gestational age (see photo below) , given I was a size 4-6 pre pregnancy, so the strain on my back isn't something I can do anything about, bar using my belly band.
