Semen Analysis Help?

Hi everybody. We just got the results from my partner's first ever semen analysis. My doc said they're "not quite normal" but didn't explain anything else. We have an RE appointment on 10/31, but I'd love some feedback from this board before then. Here are the numbers:

Volume: 0.75ml
Count/ml: 18.5M/ml
Count/ejac: 13.9M/ejac
Motility: 35%
Motile/ml: 6.5M/ml
Motile/ejac: 4.9M/ejac
Round cells: low
Morphology: 2% (amorphous heads, coiled tails)
Viability: not indicated
Avg motility grade: 2+
Viscosity: 2+
pH: 7.8
Agglutination: none
Debris: low

So whatcha think?

I'm not sure about all the numbers, but I would guess that the morphology would be considered 'abnormal' in terms of medical opinion - my hubby's morphology over the course of 3 SA's were 4%, 2% then 4% again, and they said at the time at that was 'borderline'. Lots of things can influence it though, and they probably wouldn't normally be concerned based on just one SA.

I know it's easier said than done, but even with less than ideal numbers, it's still very possible, and the next SA could be quite different! Good luck!

I think the motility is a bit low as well.... The count is ok though.

I can see an issue with the total volume for which the minimum is 1.5 ml. Minimum count per ml is considered 15million but because of the lower volume you've got a lower total count for which the minimum is considered 39million. I don't know about morphology since some doctors are not very concerned about this parameter cause it can be subjective.
All the above of course is what "is considered" normal. I have seen ladies fall preggers with very low numbers and others to be unsuccessful with supersperm.

Thanks ladies, you have all been very helpful! Now to try & be patient until 10/31 where we can hopefully start a plan with the RE. Must remain calm lol
