how soon did any of you guys have sex after your c section???

Was at least 12 weeks for us as I just found it way too uncomfortable and painful. x

6 weeks. Had my check up first. Many due to massive hemorrhage during surgery. It was fine, not sore at all.

i had mine 4 weeks ago and my doc already cleared me to work and she said i look perfectly fine so i was curious if it was okay to try to have sex yet.... or if were not supposed to because of any other reason other than pain...

Mine was 7 weeks after my 6 week check and I was back on the pill. To be honest I wasn't interested before then and they recommend that you wait at least 6 weeks.

ya they suggested me waiting 6 weeks something about the penis could give an infection to the incision cut... im just antsy to get some attention from my husband and give him some.. he tries so hard to wait but i can tell he wants some attention horribly.

We had sex 3 weeks post section and it was physically fine, not sure or uncomfy.

Unfortunately though we were so preoccupied with prospect of pain and getting it done before baby woke, we forgot to use condom. Despite breastfeeding every 3-4 hours, GP still gave me morning after pill as I fell pregnant so quickly with the others we didn't want to risk it! I was mortified turning up at chemist with a 3 week old baby asking for the morning after pill

Ill be waiting the 6 weeks... At 1week pp I'm already feeling great, not much pain left at all now... But honestly I can't b bothered having sex... We are so busy adjusting to life with our new baby it's the last thing on my mind... I know hubby misses it but he is so tired he is ready to start the baby night shift at 8 to get a head start on sleeping hahahahahahaha

Oh gosh... I think I lasted about a week!!! haha! we where just really careful and didn't do any Karma Sutra style menouvers and used a condom to prevent infections etc etc. We'd already discussed doing everything but full sex for a while after the birth but OH fondled my boobs and ,because I was breast feeding, they exploded into a shower of milk all over him It was a strange sensation, not having sex whilst pregnant and a bit weird with LO in the room but we soon got back into our normal routine!!

After ds we waited approx 6 weeks. It was very uncomfortable to start with, but the feeling didn't last very long. Will probably wait about the same time this time round xx

We tried at 4 weeks and it was a little sore so we stopped, tried again a week later and it was fine! Brilliant in fact having not dtd since about 24 weeks!

Had sex at eight weeks PP as a birthday treat but it was hardly a treat lol, i enjoyed the spa bath and all the massage etc and foreplay but the actual deed??? ouch, it had nothing to do with my Scar, it was probably a mixture of psychological things and the fact i had not had sex since before getting pregnant because it hurt too much during pregnancy, its 50/50 i think, you know? some women will be fine and others will take longer to enjoy sex, i mean it took me 7 months to feel it and enjoy it but i felt the sensations and everything it just hurt before the 7month mark.
