Hey everyone! Omg the sweep worked like four hours later for me! Had my show mild contractions around 130pm (had my sweep around 9am on the 19th Friday ) that night around 4-530pm the contractions got much worse still didn't go in so around 8pm we decided to call and go in we'll I was stuck at 2.5-3cm and wouldn't dilate anymore so they sent us home. Was there for 2hours Came home and the contractions were bad worse then before so I was home for about 2 hours and back to the hospital we went @1230am (officially the 20th) so at this point they are pretty bad and dojng everything to try and dilate but I wouldn't go past 3 ended up going to a different room tried whirlpool and with medication for pain was able to sleep a few hours it was a very long day/night.... So it's the 20th and the doctor comes in he was a very cool guy and gives me 3 options... Go home (no way! Not in this pain) walk or he can break my waters so around 10am ish he breaks my waters I told him prior to that I wanted the epidural he said the guy was in a c section n will b over as soon as he was done well..... This is where stuff got real he broke my water right away thought I was Gona get epi first but no... And at this point I was 3-4cm only....So I was fine for about 10minutes then my contractions start no pain meds.... They progressively got worse I was crying my husband said I was actually screaming we'll let me tell you this was the by far worse pain I've ever felt in my whole life!! Literally unbareable! So to me it seems like countless hours but it was only a little over an hour we'll he n the nurse finally come n to get set up n what not and I am still having strong contractions measuring about 45/50 every MINUTE!!!! (Oh and I forgot to mention how not only were the pains bad but I was having back labor!!!!) terrible! Lasting a while so around 1120ish I got the epidural @ 6cm dilated boy did that thing save my life my right side was completely numb and my left side was numb but I could still feel so I felt lots of pressure and what not well the nurse comes in to check me and said your 10cm her head is right here! She leaves comes back 5minutes later for 1 push calls the dr he comes in and about 4total pushes later we had out beautiful baby girl Taylor born at 1150 am September 20,2014 6lb 9oz 19.5inches long healthy . I was able to pull her out myself after dr got her head out I could feel myself stretching down there but I did Not tear it was amazing....
