I hate it when people who know you are still bfing, must mention " oh, she has teeth, I'd stop soon, or she will bite you":dohh: I was at my foster dads birthday supper tonight, and this lady who lives down the street, who is nice actually, but has no kids of her own, said that very thing to me. I told her she doesn't bite though, and she said "oh, I am sure she will soon":saywhat: Uh, I am pretty sure we went through that stage at 6-7 months, and I taught her not to bite :dohh: hate it when people who have no idea what they are talking about, say these things!:hissy:

okay rant over! :)

Ugh I'm sorry, I hated comments like that too. It hurts when they bite down with no teeth too..should you just never nurse? I mean really lol

Exactly! Honestly, to me, it hurt more when she clamped down toothless, than it did when she bit with teeth! I think she clamped harder when she was toothless...

Yes, I get these kinds of things said to me all the time. I can't stand it! Why do they care if they were biting anyway? It's not like it's hurting them. Just smile and nod...that is my motto. :)

I know what you mean. Harley doesn't have any teeth yet, but I have people telling me all the time I need to start getting her onto formula because when she gets teeth she's going to start biting me. Its so ******** lol

i get this all the time!!!! he bit me once when he was 8 months and got his first tooth and he hasnt done it since!!!! :hissy: i wish people would keep thier noses out!

Hebe's bite me this morning but I dont think she's 'biting' as such - more pressing down after a feed. She's only done it about 3 times and it's not actually that bad.

:ignore:
