Well I had a sweep last Thursday and really didn't think it would work. She said I was 1cm dilated but my cervix was still thick and had a lot to work to do.
Well Friday at 5pm I started getting period like cramps, didn't know if it was something happening or just cramps from the sweep. They were coming every 20 minutes but was bearable so at 10pm I went to bed with a paracetamol.
I woke at 1.30 and they were getting closer and more painful, didn't want to go to the hospital and it was just me being soft, so I hung on and on until I couldn't take anymore. I phoned my my mum at 3.30am to come and look aft DD1 and we went in.
When I got there I was 6cm so took straight to labour ward, I had diamorphine as the contractions were coming thick and fast.
Daisy was born at 6.10am on 19th July weighing 9lb 2oz. It was just as painful as my first labour but a lot shorter. I was allowed home at 10am.
Our little family is now complete and I can say I'm not going through that ever again haha.
Here is my two beautiful girls
