Shes stopped drinking as much, its really worrying me!

Alex feeds have dropped to 2-3oz at a time and it takes forever for her to take that!, she used to drain 4oz bottles. Shes at the corrected age of almost 10 weeks, and weighs 9lb 11oz. Its really concerning me. She is suffering from bad reflux but her meds have helped, yet I hear one of them can suppress appetite!

She spent a week barely taking anything and spewing it up but still put on weight last week. Then we got the meds this week and shes not taking as much as she used to.Shes on infant Gaviscon too

Is there anything I can do?

She migt just be getting used to the new meds hun. If she was being sick all the time then she wasn't really getting the full 4 oz. I had this with Brady, he was taking 6oz but throwing up all the time, once we figured out what the problem was he was only having about 3-4 oz instead. It seems to have gradually worked it's way up this week to 5oz.

Have you had her weighed this week? Brady didn't put on last week but the HV wasn't too worried because he was adjusting to actually being able to eat without chucking most of it back up. Sure he will have gained next week, hopefully Alex will as well.

Have you changed teat size yet? That can be one of the signs that they need the next stage (not being sick, but taking longer to finish a feed or not taking as much) x

With the gaviscon it makes the feed alot thicker so you will need to use the variflow teats or stage 3 i had same problem when Adi 1st went on it, he is now drinking his 4oz again.
