Shooting in Conneticut?

Some asshole shot and killed 20 kids between the ages of 5 and 10. Then he killed himself! What a fucking coawrd!
I remember being little and my mom crying to things like that and telling me "One day you'll have your own babies and you'll cry too".
Now that I'm pregnant with my little boy I can't imagine how those parents must feel. Their babies :/
God bless their souls :/ poor babies
I just thought I'd say something about this as it makes me fucking sick!

I heard that the cops shot him . But i know it could of been any school with anyones kids. People are sick now a days. Like really what did the kids do to you Ugh !

I dropped out of school, but this morning my mom was waking up my little sister and she didn't wanna getup and my mom was screaming "Get up and get freaking dressed"!!! And I can't imagine if that were HER dchool! Imagine if the parents telled at the in the morning?
Or giving your baby a kiss good bye, not knowing it would be the last one :""(

I read on the news that one of the teachers heard the shots. And told the kids to get in the cupboards and hide, and she said to them, "I need you to know that I love you all very much and everything is going to be okay." Cause she thought it was the last thing they were ever going to hear. I literally cried when I read that.
The guy also shot his mum before he went to the school.

Its so horrific and my heart goes out to all the people killed, their families, and anyone else affected.

I don't think this guy had any sort of rational thoughts whilst he was doing all of this. He obviously had many problems, it wasn't like he casually thought, "today should I go for a walk? Or shoot up a school full of children?"

It is a tragedy, and in no way am I trying to excuse what he did. But what I mean is I don't think its possible for anyone to understand why he's done this, or why anyone does things like this. I don't think the guy even understands himself. You can't come up with a rational reason for irrational behaviour.

the thing is i bet if he was black or spanish you guys wouldn't be saying he was mentally ill. Only because he is white he has to be sick in the mind. Yeah i know he must be crazy but if it was a black guy you would be like oh he did it cause he's black. and that's how everyone think.

That's not how I think...honestly anyone (white black spanish, age 10 or 100) has to be mentally ill to look children in the face and shoot them. Its just wrong, and inhumane. My prayers and thoughts go out to the families and other effected by this tradgedy

I actually pity you. Yes, racist people are extremely narrow minded. But people who think everyone white is racist are also extremely narrow minded.

Thats good ! Because alot of people wouldn't say that. I live around a lot of racist people so that's why i said that. But he did go there to kill his mom which is still sick and crazy

Are you serious? I don't think race has anything to do with it whatsoever. He has a known medical history of mental illness. The color of his skin had nothing to do with it? I'm sure if an African American or Hispanic was mentally ill and did the same thing, they would talk about his mental health, not the color of his skin?

No one even brought race into this until you did! Either way why would the color of his skin change his actions?? He clearly had mental problems no matter what he looked like and I agree with xVAP that no one can understand what the hell went through his mind because he is clearly insane, anyone who could brutally murder someone is.

Sorry just had to say something about that...
But I seriously cry thinking about that horrible tragedy. Makes me so nervous to have children and send them out to the world.. but what are we suppose to do shelter them their whole lives!? It's so sick there are rapest, murders, and pedifiles out there it makes me so angry there are people out in the world who can do that.

I saw this thing going around on facebook that was one of the teachers pictures, and apparently she hid her 1st grade students in the cabinets of her classroom when she first heard shooting, and when the gunman entered her room she said her students were in the gymnasium so he gunned her down and left.. saving all her students lives. It so sad it makes me cry to think about how all those people must have felt in that school scared for their lives, and for the poor families who lost their babies. I can't even imagine what they're going through. I saw this picture on facebook as well that almost made me cry.. I'll share it!

I'm mexican, so no I wouldn't think that. Although I know where you're coming from. Getting pregnant people always look at me like I only got pregnanr this young cause I'm Mexican.
