Short cervix and twins

I have a prior medical history of a short cervix. I am pregnant with twins. I have been told a Cerclage will be useless. Anyone with a positive story of twins and a prior medical history of short cervix?

My MFM planned to do one with my twins if I showed any sign of having an issue (didn't have any history). I would request one if you have a history. A preventative one at 12 weeks before any issue works MUCH better than anything they try after they already start to see an issue.

I am having on placed at 14 weeks. I chose to do it anyways.
