Short cycle?

Let me explain my background a little bit....I'm pretty reg with on avg 29/30 day cycles, but I have had a 37 day cycle back in July/Aug and a 39 day cycle in sept/oct. Not too much cramping, not too much backache, not much nausea. Bleed days last 4-5 days. It's been 14/15 months since my last dose of Depo provera.
Now my question... I think AF is early but I'm not cramping like I normally do and my back isn't hurting like normal. If it is AF that would make it a 27 day cycle(last time I had a 27 day cycle was when I was a teenager 15 yrs ago). If it's not af I would be on cd 28. This streak of blood I got this am seemed like an AF streak but appeared to be too heavy for implantation streak. DH and I bd on 12/12(a little painful) and on 12/17 and 12/7(both not painful). Hi! I know some ladies have spotting before AF. And it wouldn't be too early for AF for your average cycle. Only 1 day early, right? My guess is AF is starting with a little spotting. My cycles are so long and wonky, and last time I didn't have cramps or backaches either when I normally do. Then AF just appeared.

BUT, you never know! It could be implantation bleeding if you're having a longer cycle this time. Though you're right, it does sound a bit heavy to be that. If you have a cheap pregnancy test, you might want to take one since you're far enough along in your cycle.

I think it was a very short( for me AF). Today(12/21) is only cd 3/4 and it appears AF is already gone as of late yesterday...have you or anyone you know experience that as well? AF was heavy enough to use a super tampon but only for about 1-2 days then it suddenly slowed way down. I am usually 4-5/6 day AF....
