Should I be worried and will my GP do anything?

I haven't been using any contraception since my 18 month old daughter was born, having fairly regular sex, but not TTC. I'm 36 and have four children.

Long story, but I then ended up taking Cerazette for a month, then had a Lletz procedure after an abnormal smear, then had a repeat Lletz 5 weeks after that on 25th October. I started a period on 21st October, then had my next period on 6th December, so a 46 day cycle, when they are usually regularly 32-34 days and the period was normalish bleeding for a day or so, then just spotting for 14 days in total.

Since about day 9 of this cycle (despite still bleeding) until day 22 I was ovulation testing and it appears I haven't ovulated. I think my long cycle length last time may indicate I hadn't ovulated then either. Certainly no signs this cycle, although EWCM for a day only.

I'm going to my GP as this is abnormal for me, although there are a number of possible causes. I have always got pregnant very easily previously and have always had normal cycles even whilst on the combined pill and depo provera.

Will she just tell me to wait a few cycles and see how it goes? I am BF my daughter still, but I doubt that is a factor as my normal periods returned after 3 months.

I'm a little worried as my Mum went through the early menopause.

Any type of stress can cause your body to delay ovulation. I wouldn't be too worried personally.
