Should I continue feeding him? Diarrhoea

My little man (27 months) has a bad case of diarrhoea. He's absolutely fine in himself, drinking plenty. But it's 1pm and I've already changed six yellow, full watery nappies :( bless him.

He seems normal, except for telling me his bum hurts.

Should I feed him as normal? Should I avoid certain things? My mums told me not to give him milk, but he doesn't seem sick?

Thanks

I've always been told if they are hungry then feed them, just nothing too harsh on the stomach xx

Yes. Try to keep to light foods that won't be harsh on his stomach and avoid fibrous foods or citrus fruits. Scrambled egg and toast is light plus eggs bind. Likewise bananas.

The main thino is making sure that he has plenty of fluids. Poor wee soul - hope he feels better!

When my LO had sickness and diarrhoea I gave her whatever she felt like eating. I reckoned that she was the best judge of what she needed. She wanted lots of milk which isn't recommended but I was happy that she was at least taking in something. Other than that all she wanted was toast.
