I'm a bit worries about Lucy,
she's feeding very well, a bit too well really, she takes around 30oz a day (she weighs 12lb) and doesn't generally feed during the night, unless on a growth spurt!!!
However, in the past 4 weeks, what used to be the occasional spit-up has now become frequent vomiting, not projectile, but she is constantly sick and it has become easier to leave a bib on her. She arches her back sometimes when crying and can become a bit distressed, but she is constantly throwing her milk up.
I've looked on the web and found something called Enfamil which do an Anti-reflux formula, which you can get on prescription, and also SMA do a stay-down milk. Was just wondering if anybody had tried either of them and what they thought. Have tried all the other things like not lying them down for 1/2 an hour after a feed, and trying to keep movements to a low, but it doesn't make a difference, if she's awake, she's throwing up!!!
Any other suggestions welcome, have heard that infant gaviscon can help with the discomfort but not stop the vomiting.
Thanks for reading
