Okay. I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place...
I'm 6-7 weeks pregnant. (I have my first appointment this week!!! :D)
Anyways, I've read that I need to avoid all sorts of rodents?
I am partial owner of our local pet store and work there 40+ hours a week..
We have rats, mice, Guniea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, and degus..
What would y'all suggest?
Should I go about things normally, or have someone else clean up after those animals? Is the risk of infection high enough to worry?
Thanks for any input!
In trying to keep the baby as safe as I can. :)

I would say have others care for the rodents. They can possibly carry a virus called LCMV, lymphocytic choriomeningitis. If contracted, it can possibly harm the baby. It is usually recommended to avoid all contact with rodents. Here is some information on LCMV from the CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dvrd/spb/mnpages/dispages/lcmv/owners.htm
