LO is over 7 months now and she sleeps fairly well. She'll sleep from around 7ish pm until 2/3am have 60-70ml of milk and then go back to sleep until 6am. During the day she has around 4 bottles now with 120-170ml of milk per feed. She also has 3 solid meals a day.
I'm curious as to whether I should try to stop the night feed. If she still needs it, then I am completely happy to keep giving it as my parenting is baby-led. But I'm curious as to whether she is actually hungry or if it's just for comfort and am worrying it may just be habit. 70ml isn't a great amount, if she was taking 100ml or more then I'd definitely say it was hunger. She won't cry, but she will fuss and groan until she gets the bottle. I have tried settling her back to sleep other ways but nothing else works. And it's pretty much the same time every night.
She doesn't have a dummy (we had to take it away at 5 months for her palate operation, and we aren't giving it back) so it could be for comfort. She does have a comforter that she cuddles all night but she is still waking for the bottle.
Should I keep giving it to her and just wait it out? How do I know she's actually hungry or if it's just habit?
