Should I wait?

My cycles been a bit weird since december. I normally get it every 28 days. Well my last cycle in December I got it 2 weeks later. Then I got it back at every 28 days. Well last month my cycle came at day cd 51 Which could mean I ovulated late or didn’t at all. So here we are and on late again. I know on CD13 I bled after having sex. Not bad. But just a bit of spotting for a few hours. No pad needed. Just when I wiped.
I’m super tired and nothing taste good to me. I’m also 39 and well I know I could be nearing menopause. But my doctor said she didn’t think yet. I don’t want a BFN ughh. Should I wait until cd 45 day mark? I’m at cycle day 32 now this so. I added my cycle chart

The spotting could be ovulation spotting. I've never had it & not sure how often it happens to other ladies but judging by the CD, sounds like a possibility. As for testing, hard to say since you don't know when you actually might have ovulated (did you take opk?). If it was me, I would test since you're past when AF would be due based on your average cycle length.

When I had long cycles and wasn’t sure about testing, my gyn would say test 2-3 weeks after DTD since I couldn’t rely on predicted AF. Hugs
