Does anyone else have a baby that shouts ALL DAY?? dd2 is so small and cute looking but she yells like a drunken lager lout constantly. It's so loud no one can talk over her and it really bothers my 2 year old. She cries quite a bit too as she has quite bad separation anxiety with me but even when she's happy or eating or even being held she shouts! Just hangs her little mouth open and goes 'uuuurrrrrrrruuuurrrrr!!!!' Her entire face goes red and she balls her fists. I'm not sure why as its when she's happy too! She's very active and is crawling and pulling up. She can clap and is very smiley and interactive. It's driving me a bit potty as its so loud, she did it in IKEA today and my dh was so embarrassed as everyone commented on it ( nicely) anyone have any experience of this??

She's just making herself heard, the best way she knows how. My littlest screeches so much so that we call him"the chimp" as he sounds like a demented monkey.
It'll pass, I promise. Try and get it on video too. It'll make you laugh in future and it'll embarrass her! Lol x

Agree with pp! It will pass. My little girl can be quite...er...vocal as well! :haha: she goes through phases of it. If it's really starting to get to me I find distracting her singing or talking to her can help diffuse the situation.

My LO went through phases of very loud screeching, growling and just generally shouting.

It's a bit embarrasing when you're out plus the screeching gave me a headache. I found randomly that whistling helped the screeching, I think she saw it as me responding though occasionally it was interpreted as a competition...
