nicole is on stage 1 cow and gate .but latley it does not seem to be filing her .after her feeds she sucks the life out of her hands like she wants more milk and then moans i think im best off putting her on stage two now

she takes 5 onzes but seems to want more any advice for me plz xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Is it that she won't take any more than 5oz but still appears hungry? If so this is how i was with Lexie, her tummy was to small to fit in anymore milk but it wasn't filling her up! I put her onto the hungry baby and it really helped xx

I personally would give it a go. Give the HV a call if your unsure, but i was told that unless they drop in oz after you have made the swap to hungry baby it is fine xx

Jus a quick word of advice before you do, i think it can have a tendacy to cause constipation if you do it too quick, just somethin a HV told me when i was gonna use it with my first..

We find this with Liam sometimes (he's also 2 months), what we tend to do, is give him 5oz bottle and then wait a while (15-20 mins) and then do another 2 oz if he is still seemingly wanting more and he usually ends up taking around 1-2 oz and settles, we give him SMA Gold stage 1.

We found previously we used actimail and this didn't seem to fill him but SMA seemingly does.

we put elliot on cow and gate 2 (hungrier milk) and it worked wonders for him, when he was too little to cope with more milk or solids.

yep Rosie has been on c+g hungry baby milk since 5 weeks old and I also give her 3 oz water every other day and she is fine x
