Just back from a private feotal growth scan at 26+2.
Little one has average head, long legs (Daddy is 6'3") but a very fat tummy - coming out at top end of normal parameters.
Is this a sign of gestational diabetes? I asked the sonographer and she said it would be good to be checked but my test isn't for 2 weeks. Should I be concerned? Call my midwife??
Thanks for your help.

could be normal for your baby too. but you are at the time where you should be tested for gd. good luck to you!

Signs can be thirst, tiredness etc but they can be normal pg symptoms too. If you're worried try to reduce your sugar/carb intake until you've been tested xx
