sil's ovulation test thread - cycle 2 **9/24 opinions please**

Hi ladies,
I am currently on cycle 2 TTC #2. Number 1 was an oopsie for us, so this is all new to me. I had my Mirena removed in July. Cycle #1 was a difficultly long 45 days. I am currently on cycle #2, 10 DPO, and figured it's time to get those tests rolling!

Every day I will update with my new OPK and my CM. I do not currently temp since I am an extremely restless sleeper, wake up at different times, and do not believe it would be that reliable for me.

Here we go!! Last month ovulation was on CD 31, so I'm hoping this month's is a little bit shorter since my body has now had a full cycle off of the Mirena to regulate.

I'm starting to feel a little down that my CM and tests have not progressed much. I really don't want to endure another long cycle. It was really tough on me testing, waiting, and not ovulating until CD 31 last cycle. Come on O!

Im here i think ive just ov after stopping bc in june, i dont really notice much difference in cm at any point, but cd 14 seems a tad darker xx

Hi hun,
Have you consider trying anything to make you ovulate a little earlier I know soy isoflavones some ladies recommend and when taking cycle day 2-6 or 3-7 they notice they ovulate a little earlier than usual, I can't really say me as I did take soy isoflavones this cycle but cycle days 4-8 to make my egg stronger (not to make me ovulate earlier) but next month I will be taking them
Early instead as I've noticed this month that I do actually ovulate late in my cycle, I'm every 35 days and I've ovulated cycle day 26 so
I don't really hold much hope out for this being my BFP cycle as I'm only left with 9 LP days ....

But soy isoflavones could be worth a shot ? See if it brings ovulation that little bit forward, good luck Hun, I will be stalking xx

Cherrished, thank you for the tips! I actually haven't heard of this before. I will have to look into it and maybe give it a try next cycle. My fingers are crossed for you, baby dust!

Starting to feel like it will definitely be another long cycle. The wait for ovulation almost feels worse than the two week wait.

CD 18: Negative OPK, creamy/watery CM - thinning out some, which is better than last cycle where it stayed sticky/creamy straight through ovulation. Come on O!! Hurry up!

CD 19 AM: What do you guys think?? Way darker today. This was the test after only 2 minutes (test says to allow 5 minutes to finish working). I think it's ALMOST positive but not quite. I'm going to test again this afternoon and see if anything has changed. My CM is still creamy/slightly watery, so I think I'm going to run out and buy some preseed to try this cycle. Fingers crossed that I get a great positive tonight or tomorrow or sometime soon!! Last cycle ovulation was CD 31 so I'm SUPER excited if it's CD 19/20 this time. Thoughts??

Thanks xx! I tested again with SMU. I'm so excited! Yesterday was my birthday so it feels like a birthday treat to ovulate earlier
