i want to go on holiday with ds (13 months) it would be my first hol as a mum let alone a single mum .. anyone done this & how did they find it?

I took my 2 kids on holiday to the seaside but we went with a friend and her daughter, it was hard, and i was exhausted! id love to do it again though xxx

ive recently been away with my daughter, i admit my parents were there but i still attended to about 85% of DD's needs..
they got her up in the morning & gave her breakfast so i could have an extra 30-45 mins in bed :)
it was soo good, yet i was shattered when i got home!! lol

im hoping to take her away in Feb somewhere on my own (shes 2 in feb). xx

There's a website that runs single parent holidays - www.singlewithkids.co.uk/. I happened upon it by accident one day but it actually looks like a great idea.
I planned to holiday alone with Lucas last year but my mam ended up coming. I'd love to though. I guess the worst part would be travelling but if you go on days out alone with LO it shouldn't be too difficult.
