hi,

argos have got the sit and spin zebra toys down at £42 instead of £52. so thats good news.

however, does anyone have 1 of these? they say 12months but i have been told by quite a few ppl that most children under 18months struggle to get on them...... and blake is still really small although 13months old (6-9clothes) and will be 15months at xmas.

hiya my sister bought one of these for my son when she use to work in tk maxx last year got it for £35 :D perks of the job haha. my son turned 1 two weeks before xmas so was still quite young though he did manage to get on and off it. he never really seemed to quite enjoy it much though until he was about 18months old :/ x

I bought 1 last week from tesco for £33 - really good value cause it is about £50 else where. I bought it for madi's christmas. I think it is fine for 12 months cause it is really small when you see it out of the box, I tried madi on a display one at toys r us and she was fine (she is also small for her age)

I got one from tesco when it was £27  I'm giving it for xmas, so it will probably look pretty in the living room until its played with :haha: x

i brought it from tescos for 33 to! for dexters xmas pressie, he wil be 14mths old and hes just sttarted pulling himself up so i think he wil like it :)

we found that Ben didnt enjoy it that much until he had balance and stability himself, so well established with walking etc

I won one on ebay for £13.00 about a month before Joseph turned one. He wasn't walking then and his balance on it wasn't good.

He had an 18 month old at his party who did get some use out of it as he was bigger and walking on his own, but even so he struggled to bounce, although he could make it spin.

Joseph has had more use with it himself now he is also 18 months old and can climb on and off himself and use his own balance.

But even as a christmas gift, your LO will soon be able to use it himself and it is a great bargain. Before Joseph was able to play on it he liked to spin the dial thing and make it light up and play music.

£42 is total rip for that toy.

I wouldnt pay no more than £25 for it thats pushing it.

There is millions on ebay, sell for £5!

jack got one last yr and he would have been 1 and a bit he could just about get on it, but to be fair be has never really played on it much and i kind of wish i never bought it.

Elyse got hers around 15 months but plays with it more now at 19 months -- she doesn't LOVE it though to be honest, so I'm glad I got it for $15 secondhand.. since it might get donated or sold soon. Like it takes up enough room, and to not get played with very much, what's the point? She might use it 5-10 mins per day.

Whereas her Laugh N Learn chair by Fisher Price.. she loves that thing, got it for her at 9 months for Christmas and she still sits on it all the time.

thanks everyone. it is pricey for what it is, our tesco hasnt got any

Amelie has only started using hers in the last few months tbh. They are quite tall but she was a late walker so im unsure if it was a height issue.

We got ella one for xmas last year and she's only just started using it in the last few months actually. She didn't walk until 17 mths so she was probably unconfident until she was more stable.

Eloise received hers from a very generous friend for her 1st Birthday and loved it! But, she started walking at ten months, so was very stable by her birthday, and had no trouble getting on and off.

She's now 19 months and still plays on it every single day (although I do tend to turn the music off when she's not looking - drives me insane).

Although I didn't pay for it myself, I think it's worth every penny, and wouldn't hesitate to buy one myself!

I have to say, I paid £12 for Emma's from eBay and out of all the toys she's got this has to be the one she looks happiest playing with. I say happy - she looks like a complete nutter bouncing on it but everyone comments on how much she seems to love it! I don't think it's worth full price or even £42 tbh - if that was the cheapest you could get them at then yes it'd be worth it cos Emma does LOVE hers but there's loads of them going on ebay for under £20 and in excellent condition so I'd have a look on there first!

Emma has used hers since 12 months, she can get on and off it no trouble!

it turns out a friend has 1 and has said we can go and try it and see if eh can get on/off etc. she said that her sons were 18months+ when they were able to use it and they were much bigger than blake is at this age.

Ethan has one that was bought as a present for him for his 1st birthday. He is really tall for his age, but I wouldn't say he had any problems getting on and off it (other than being a bit wobbly until walking was properly established). What I would say though is that he never uses it for more than about 3 or 4 bounces every couple of days before he gets bored and then goes off looking for his blocks and cars. It is very big and took up a lot of the living room so unfortunately we decided to give it to someone else. Shame tho, it's more or less brand new!

well i took him to my friends who has 1, he cant get on it. so i put him on it and he can just make it turn but he cant bounce it at all. she has said i can go and try him on it again nearer xmas but is he really going to grow 2-3inches and put on weight in 10weeks?

jack got one last yr and he would have been 1 and a bit he could just about get on it, but to be fair be has never really played on it much and i kind of wish i never bought it.

Chase hasn't really played on it either since he got his last Christmas. Once in a while he will sit and bounce and get off in a matter of a minute. I truly thought he'd love it but wish I had not bought it either.
