sitting up

Grace can sit up when she's propped up or when you hold onto her but she can't keep herself up. I know babies develop differently but was just worried because she's almost 6 months and all the other babies on here around her age can sit up by themselves. Is there anything I can do to encourage her to sit by herself? She just falls sideways if I try

I used to sit her up with her legs apart abit, untill she got her balance

I dont know what to suggest cause some babies just dont sit up or crawl or walk until they are ready..

same as Toria Alasdair used to fall sideways and did that for ages then all of a sudden I could leave him and now he'll sit up, straight backed to play!

i've been working with jordyn doing what toria suggested i think it was her who suggested it to me before... jordyn will be 6 months on january4th.. and she not sitting by herself yet either... she can do it for afew seconds but topples over pretty fast...
