Hey guys it's been almost 2 weeks since Sara was born so here's what happened

Had my weeks doctors appointment and my blood pressure was sky high, mind you the week before they checked me for pre-e and I didn't have it, I just had high blood pressure because of pregnancy that didn't start til half way through third tri. So at 37 weeks and 2 days my doctor decided to induce

So skip all the extra stuff... I get to the hospital with DH and they start setting me up in my room. My doctor was going to be out of town so I was set up with one of his colleagues. They decided to wait til the next morning to start pitocin so that I could eat and sleep, they gave me ambien to help with the sleep part, that stuff is wonderful seriously.

Now it's 7:30 am and we start pitocin, I was offered and epidural but I wanted to see if I could do it on my own around 11 I said screw you I need the epidural lol  it took a little more than an hour to get it and it hurt me horribly to have it put in. I still ended up needed some stronger drugs with the combination of the catheter giving me pain and everything else that hurt.

By 4 pm I was starting to feel the pushing urge. I didn't cry and the pushing didn't hurt to bad probably thanks to those lovely drugs lol... I felt te doctor give me an episiotomy  it didn't hurt I just felt it. And btw I still tore. The doc had to use a vaccume to help her out
and by 6:44 pm Sara Jeanette at 9 lbs 1 oz 20 inches long was born. :happydance: an she is beautiful!

They had to resuscitate her at first and she still had trouble breathing, they took her away to the nursery and later the nicu her arm was also injured from getting stuck. Her brachial plexus nerves got pinched and although she can move her fingers her arm doesnt move, we are taking her to physical therapy to find out what we can do everyone seems confident she will recover as this is supposedly pretty common, about 5 hours later she was breathing fine and I was holding her attempting our first nursing session. And two days later we are home :)

I don't know how to post pictures from my iPhone but if I figure it out I will

Thank for reading!!!
