Slapped cheek and vomiting?

So DD has been vomiting for about 36 hours, mild fever and some diarrhea. I assumed it was rotavirus or noravirus or any other gastro bug. But just now, her cheeks have come up BRIGHT red and really warm, they were not like that a couple of hours ago.

Does slapped cheek ever come with vomiting and or diarrhea? Is the rash a coincidental viral rash?

The good news is both slapped cheek and rota do not usually sicken adults. Bad news is DS just started puking.

Yes slapped cheek is dangerous in pregnancy but I am immune, got checked last prrgnancy when it was going on around DS.

Just before Xmas my daughter had diahorra and vomiting, she had a bad cold which then caused stomach upset . She had slap lip and cheek,. All around her lips were bright red and the redness was creeping up her cheek. I assumed that because she had a runny nose it was where she was rubbing across her nose, took her docs and her said slap lip and cheek. It had cleared up in a few days, my son keeps getting a red patch on one cheek but that normally clears up in a few days also.
