Does anyone else leak LOADS when they are sleeping ??

Last night when I was feeding Lucas I went through two pads on the other boob and soaked all his clothes !

What does everyone else wear in bed or do to stop themselves soaking bedclothes, sheets etc !?

I find my normal nusring bras are to tight to wear in bed and have heard you can buy sleep bras ?

How about trying shells honey?? You can use the milk you lose that way. Just a thought..... :D

I used to leak SO much from the other boob whilst I was feeding :dohh:

I purchased some sleep bras from mothercare as i was so uncomfortable in regular nursing bras at night. I also used laniosh pads and johnsons. I found Laniosh ones would absorb all the moisture but i'd have this horrible mush in the pad. Johnsons were good absorbant but i found them a little small so at night, when your boobs move (esp if you're big chested) they weren't always in the right place.

Great post. This happened to me last night and this is exactly the question I have!

What are shells?

Breast shells collect the leaking milk so it doesnt to waste :D

Shells are fab!! I can't use them when I'm sleeping but when sitting up, I feed from one side and I wear a shell on the other. Sometimes I can collect 1oz+ from just one side! Doesn't sound like a lot but why waste it?!? Avent make them.

As for pads, I've decided to use washable after over 2 months of disposables. I could only find the Mothercare ones over here, but so far they're great :)

I use pamper changing mats, its quite comfortable but u do wake up soking wet, i woudnt recommend it before bub sleeps thru the night. just need a clean nightie every night.

I read breast shields are not spost to b used for more than 10 mins at a time, is this not true? I may give them a go?
