My doctor prescribed me 10 days x 10mg of Provera as I have irregularly long cycles and am waiting to start my first round of Clomid. Tonight was pill day 5, and for the 4th day in a row I find myself laying in bed, tossing, turning, anxious, and beyond exhausted.

Any ladies who have been on Provera- will it get better soon? Any advice for dealing with the side effects?

Thank you xoxo best luck to you all on this crazy TTC journey!

I am sorry you are struggling with the Provera. I just finished 10 days of Provera last Thursday and I also had some insomnia and mood-swings I hope that it gets better for you soon! Is today your last day of taking it? I am on day 4 since stopping the pill and I still haven't gotten AF.

Hi ladies i am on my 6th day of 2x 10mg daily. Tomorrow will be my last pill. I have pcos and very long cycles. Im also on metformin and due to start clomid when AF shows.

Im getting the exact same problem, anxiety and sleeplessness. I think its perfectly normal. As soon as AF is here it should level itself out. Last time i took provera it took 3 days and i began spotting then AF the day later, im hoping its the same this time.

Dont worry yourself to much MrsK its a perfectly normal reaction. Try read before going to bed, not on a digital device as the blue light triggers alertness. Also as stupid as it sounds try only go to bed when your sleepy, i find if i force myself to early then i get myself wound up.

Hope your doing better now.

Thank you both for your words of wisdom. Monday was my last pill and I've been getting better sleep since then! I started getting some brown spotting today. Hoping to see red soon so I can count it as CD1!

Hoping we all start seeing red soon so the countdown can begin all over again :)
