Sleepy baby and how much at 9 weeks?

LO seems to take less now than he did. Feeds 6 times in 24 hrs and about 5/6 oz per time but sometimes only 4. He is always falling asleep on bottles now too! It's a job to wake him for each go and get the feed into him!!!! What can I do?

My LO is 8 weeks today and has 6 feeds in 24hrs and these are normally 4/5oz though on Saturday he wouldn't take more than 3oz per feed! My LO also falls asleep a lot of the time and I try all the tricks to wake him including nappy change, tickling, burping, undressing and blowing on him gently!! Sometimes nothing works and he'll just want his next feed a bit earlier xx

Hiya my little girl was born same day! She has 5-6 oz and only 5 bottles a day now as she sleeps from about 10-7.30 now! Her last feed she only takes about 3-4oz as she falls asleep! I think as long as lo seems full and happy whatever is ok obviously as long as its still a reasonable amount! If she falls asleep after hardly any I change position and tap the bottle and that gets another oz in lol. Another thing is she's not sick as much as she used to so whatever she has pretty much stays in now! Xxx

My little one as been doing tr same recently I have been worried so glad it's not just him he seems to be going for longer in the day between feeds an not taking as much as he was before sometimes he will finish a 6oz bottle other times he will only take 3oz

My son has been doing the exact same thing!!!! He was drinking 4-5oz every 2-3 hours, now I'm lucky if he will drink 2 or 3oz! He falls asleep on the bottle & I literally have to force feed him sometimes

SO glad I'm not the only one, I was getting so worried about him!

It's so reassuring reading that everyone else's baby is the same! Must be a phase as they get older! We should be glad of the peace really lol we would soon be moaning if they were crying for food all the time! Never pleased lol. Xxx

I know Daniel is still doing it he is only taking 3oz at some feeds now
