Small lady parts

I'm wondering if anyone else's doctor has mentioned that their uterus, cervix, and vaginal canal might all be too small to carry a baby to full term? Basically, when I asked why I had my baby early, I was given several different scenarios, but no one knows for sure yet. I had to have a vacuum delivery, as my vaginal canal is really small (lucky for my husband!) We're going to give ourselves some time before we start exploring whether we can have more children of our own, but I'm just curious if anyone else has heard this? (baby boy born at 35 weeks, doing wonderfully!)
