Smear on cd 11? Is that ok to do

I am feeling i may ov in the next couple days and i am worried as this falls around the same time as my smear on friday, so how safe would this be to have if i have ov already or if i havent and am about too? Would you go or arrange for next month if you were me

You need to have your smear mid cycle so if you ovulate at the same time each month it'll always clash. I'd just not have sex the 24 hours before so there aren't any when they take the swab. Other than that they only swab your cervix so you should be fine. TBH better to put off ttc for a month than a smear

Thanks so much for answering me unfortunatly i cancelled it as i didnt get replys and i only just read yours but im thinking maybe go just after my next period has finished, your right it is more important to get my smear than anything else whats the point adding to my brood if im not going to be here to take care of them!! Gosh its unthinkable will make another appt now xox
