My childless female friends had better watch out :laugh2:

'Curiously, the odours given off by breast-feeding have been shown to heighten sexual desire in childless women. Researchers at the Monell Chemical Senses Centre in Philadelphia and the University of Chicago are not sure why, but in 2002 suggested that it may be a way that women signal to each other that the environment is a good one in which to reproduce.'

I had a look at the research paper and the tests involved asking women to hold pads that had been 'over the breast of lactating women' over their noses (they had no idea what they were smelling or what their response was expected to be). Not sure I'd want to be one of their test subjects...very strange!

Then I'm a walking "get pregnant" bilboard with all the milk I have leaking into my clothing, and milk burped out over my shoulder...

:dohh:

No wonder so many people I know are having babies. It's catching!

I did wonder if i was catching once

They say these things (pregnancies) tend to come in three's - maybe this is why! lol One starts lactating, another starts procreating!

Ugh! I reek of sour milk and sweaty boobs! Now how can that turn anyone on?

 maybe you should get out on the streets and try it Deise ;)

It does seem to be catching though - I didn't know anyone who was pregnant when I found out I was...and now everyone's having babies. I haven't been going around waving breast pads at them though! x

Tell me about it! My mother got pregnant at the same time as me, so doesn't really count, but my boss' granddaughter got pregnant shortly after I started lactactating (oops!) lol and my sister is now 10 weeks pregnant - She got pregnant three weeks after I had Anna!

Maybe this is why!?
