So annoyed!

Pointless thread like all mine usually are but I was so mad at the doctor in the hospital the other day!!

I'd had a few spells of spotting + cramping on Saturday morning so OH rushed me to A+E.
When I got called in to see the doctor + she told me to do a urine sample to check the pregancy + all that.
We were waiting ages + she came into the room and her face dropped, she closed the curtain around me + said to me (in a disappointed tone I should add!) That the pregnancy test has come back positive + asked me what I wanted to do about!

WHAT??
I felt like knocking her out seriously!

She'd frightened me to death, I thought she was going to tell me something was wrong!!
And to make matters worse, it was like she was frowning on the fact I wanted to be a teenage mum!!
I told her bluntly that if I want to keep this baby then it's my choice not hers.

I'd happily run her over the amount of shame she was trying to place on me!!!!

maybe she just didn't expect you to be excited?
some people do't know how to respond i think.

This was my first thought too, but I remember telling her that we'd planned the pregnancy when I walked into the room!
I already knew I was pregnant, I was there because I wanted to check my little cake was okay..
If that makes any sense in the slightest?

I popped over from 1st tri. Im 22, nearly 23 and I rung my docs for results and she said ring me tomorrow when your not at work and tell us what you want to do about it, yer tar!!!! x

idk, maybe she forgot or something?
my doctor was really excited about my LO, even though i was only 14 and she wasn't planned.. at the time it kinda threw me off.
i think our doctors must be confused

She looked like the kind of person who desn't agree with sex outside marriage, Very old fashioned.
Luckily I don't have to see her again, unless I end up in A+E again
My actual GP was just as excited as me
She rang me up the other day, just to check how I was! She's great
