So confused about CM

So I thought I was in the TWW, having ovulated either Tuesday, or Friday saturday (I dont track but I used some OPKs last week and had some progression. According to my apps I was due to O Friday/Saturday). Just been to the bathroom and had some EWCM which was really stretchy (sorry tmi) - I'm on cd18, could I be about to O now if I didn't actually O when I thought? I know you don't get EWCM after ovulation so makes me think I haven't O'd yet? Any help would be appreciated will bd tonight that's for sure!!

Hey MummyKP, nice to see you here in TTC! Did you have EWCM when your app predicted O to happen? It sounds like you treated it as a fertile day which is a good idea because some people do O later in their cycle.. I think I usually O from CD 18-20. I've read that if you have one day of EWCM after a fertile patch has ended it may be due to an estrogen boost as the corpus luteum develops (where egg was released). However if EWCM was kind of on/off for the days preceding this episode then I'd assume it's still part of your fertile window. FX for you!

I had some EWCM last weekend, not a huge amount but I did have some. But I've had more the past few days since posting....more than what I had before predicted O. Really don't know what's going on! Lol. Have DTD every other day so I guess I'll just keep that up for a few more days thanks butterbaby

I understand ya I'm totally confused & I'm 34 I had my tubal reversal in June started trying in sept.to many negatives makes me totally neg. I had my period on Dec. 30 it Lasted until jan 6. AF HAS YET TO SHOW UP its been replaced with whit creamy cm then white watery cm now clear I have had a few hot flashes bloating heart burn but when I tested it was WITH NO DOUBT NEGATIVE. I CRIED SO HARD IT HURT MY CHEST I FEEL LIKE SUCH A FAILURE CANT EVEN GET PREGGERS AND IM DOING EVERYTHING
